Dominguez Hills Faculty Led Study Abroad in Bulgaria June 5-17, 2020
In summer 2019, Dr. Lacy and five students went to Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo and many archaeological sites in Bulgaria under the course ANT 350: Prehistory of Africa and Eurasia. This June 2020 we will narrow in on the archaeology of the region with ANT 495 Eastern European Archaeology with an expanded program of other classes offered through CSU Dominguez Hills. Our local logistics are handled by Stone and Compass, and students get to explore a gorgeous country with a deep, complex and fascinating history. Interested? Anyone is welcome as it is offered through our extended education program! Reach out if you want to join us for a second summer in the Balkans! Other classes like ANT 495 Anthropology of Performance: In the field in Eastern Europe will be offered exploring the cultural heritage and modern, dynamic theater scene in Bulgaria. You can enroll in up to two classes!
